The 'LAST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH' service is here on 25th Feb - at 4pm. All very welcome. The theme this month is 'Contemplation'.

Soup Lent Lunch this Friday will be in church at 12.30pm, after the 12 noon Eucharist. We'll be supporting The Diocesan Lent Appeal this year, 'Tackling Homelessness Together'. Other soup dates are March 9, 16, 23. If you have time to make soup for 23 March that would be a great help as that's the only Friday when we don't yet have a volunteer.

We are revising our ELECTORAL ROLL and this Sunday is the last opportunity to join the roll. Please check whether you are on our Electoral Roll and if you're not and you're over 16

- and live in the parish, or you:

- don't live in the parish but have worshipped here for more than six months

- please fill out an Electoral Roll form (which you'll find at the back of church).

The PCC meets this Tuesday (27 Feb) at 8.05pm after the 7.30pm Eucharist. Agendas at the back of church. Dates for future PCC meetings in the Parish Room (8.05pm): 15 May, 3 July, 18 Sept, 9 Oct, 20 Nov.

The next church cleaning is this Sat, 3rd Mar, 9.30am - 11.30am. All welcome!

Who Cares? An introduction to pastoral care. Are you interested in caring for others? This course will give you an insight into what pastoral care is all about and what good practice looks like. This 7 week course is open to all and starts on March 6th @ 7pm @ Stepney Centre for Training and Development, Hemsworth St, Hoxton N1 5LF. Liz Taylor is kindly running a COFFEE MORNING in church to mark Fairtrade Fortnight (26 Feb - 11 Mar). The Coffee Morning will be on Sat 10 March, 10.30 - 12 noon. All very welcome!

March 11th is Mothering Sunday and the 4th Sunday of Lent.

There will be prayers for healing at the 10am service on 18th March.

Our 'Annual Meeting of Parishioners' & 'Annual Parochial Church Meeting' (APCM) will be on Sunday March 18th, immediately after church.

Lenten Quiet Day. Sat 24th March,11.30am to 2.30pm. Cost: £10, which includes lunch, drinks and all materials. You must pre-register by calling Fr Doug on 0208 985 7832, or sign the sheet at the back of church. Title of the day - The Longest Week, a reflection on Holy Week.

Holy Week & Easter: Palm Sunday: 9.45am at school, 10am in church on 25 March. Eucharist at 8pm Mon 26 - Wed 28 at 8pm. Maundy Thursday service will be at 8pm on 29 March. Good Friday service at 10am, Stations of the Cross at 2.30pm. We will be showing a film - 'of Gods and Men - in the Parish Room at 3.30pm. Church decorating - Sat 31 March, 9.30-11.30am. Easter Day - Dawn Eucharist at 5.30am (followed by Parish Breakfast). Easter Celebration at 10am.

Please sign up in the file on the table at the back of church if you have time to get involved in church opening on a Saturday, 9.30 - 3pm. As little as half an hour of your time is really useful. We have an obligation to one of our funders for the repair work on our Tower to be open 40 Saturdays a year. And anyhow - we'd like to be open as much as possible.

We need to ensure that there are always two adults in Junior Church. Would you be willing, not to lead, but to be a second adult, on occasion? You will need a DBS check, but we can organise that. Please speak with Andrew, Gill or Steve.
