Soup Lent Lunch this Friday will be in church at 12.30pm, after the 12 noon Eucharist. We'll be supporting The Diocesan Lent Appeal this year, 'Tackling Homelessness Together'. Other soup dates are March 16, 23.

There will be prayers for healing at the 10am service on 18th March.

If you would like to buy an Easter Lilly in memory of someone, please write your name on the list at the back of church. Lillies cost £5 each.

Some volunteering opportunities:

We'd like to hear from you if you would be willing to:

- join a rota of altar servers

- Do some ushering when we have baptisms and at major festivals such as Easter and Christmas. These people would be in addition to the Stewards on the rota

- be willing to come in to church to organise the altar linen kept in the Vestry

Our 'Annual Meeting of Parishioners' & 'Annual Parochial Church Meeting' (APCM) will be here on Sunday March 18th, immediately after church. We have space on the Council to elect four new members.

Victoria Park Singers concert in church on Wed 21 March. 'The Path Unwinding - Fifth Anniversary Concert'. Tickets will be available on the door at £12/£10 concessions. Doors open at 7:30pm. Performance starts at 8pm.

Lenten Quiet Day. Sat 24th March,11.30am to 2.30pm. Cost: £10, which includes lunch, drinks and all materials. Profit to be split between the Diocesan Lent appeal 'Tackling Homelessness Together' and The Delhi Brotherhood. You must pre-register by calling Fr Doug on 0208 985 7832, or sign the sheet at the back of church. Title of the day - The Longest Week, a reflection on Holy Week.

Holy Week & Easter

Sun 25 March: Palm Sunday: 9.45am at school, 10am in church.

Mon 26 - Wed 28: Eucharist at 8pm at 8pm.

Thurs 29: Maundy Thursday service at 8pm. Vigil until Midnight.

Friday 30 : Good Friday service at 10am, Stations of the Cross at 2.30pm (on 30 March). We will be showing a film - 'of Gods and Men - in the Parish Room at 3.30pm, also on Good Friday.

Sat 31: Church decorating - 9.30-11.30am.

Sunday 1 April - Easter Day. Dawn Eucharist at 5.30am (followed by Parish Breakfast).
Easter Celebration at 10am.

The next church cleaning is Sat, 7 April, 9.30am - 11.30am. All welcome!

Dates for future PCC meetings in the Parish Room (8.05pm): 15 May, 3 July, 18 Sept, 9 Oct, 20 Nov.

Please sign up in the file on the table at the back of church if you have time to get involved in church opening on a Saturday, 9.30 - 3pm. As little as half an hour of your time is really useful. We have an obligation to one of our funders for the repair work on our Tower to be open 40 Saturdays a year. And anyhow - we'd like to be open as much as possible.

We need to ensure that there are always two adults in Junior Church. Would you be willing, not to lead, but to be a second adult, on occasion? You will need a DBS check, but we can organise that. Please speak with Andrew, Gill or Steve
