If you play an instrument, please tell Victoria, our Director of Music. It doesn't matter at all how good you think you are - she'd like to hear from you.

Some volunteering opportunities:

We'd like to hear from you if you would be willing to:

On Sat 14 July at 7pm there will be a 'Scratch Messiah' to raise money for a new organ. Those taking part will learn the music in advance and then come together and rehearse to put on a concert in a single day. For this to run smoothly some volunteering will be essential. Would you be able to help:

- On Friday 13 July to be around in the building & help out in any way needed, 10am - 2pm, or 2-6pm. Possible that you could be at home and 'on call' for some of the time.

- On Sat 14 July be around or 'on call' from 9am - 1pm or 1pm - 5pm.

- On Sat 14 July, 6-10pm, be a team leader who would gather other helpers to (1) run a bar (2) do programmes and organise a retiring collection (2) help with any setting up & clearing up. Please speak with Victoria, Andrew, Steve or Gill if you can help.

- Enhance the beauty and joy of our worship with your playing and/or singing. Please speak with Victoria, our Director of Music.

- join a rota of altar servers

- Do some ushering when we have baptisms and at major festivals such as Easter and Christmas. These people would be in addition to the Stewards on the rota

- be willing to come in to church to organise the altar linen kept in the Vestry

Please sign up in the file on the table at the back of church if you have time to get involved in church opening on a Saturday, 9.30 - 3pm. As little as half an hour of your time is really useful. We have an obligation to one of our funders for the repair work on our Tower to be open 40 Saturdays a year. And anyhow - we'd like to be open as much as possible.
