Advent CAROL SERVICE - 1 Dec - 4pm. All welcome!

There will be no 12 noon Eucharist on Friday 6th as we have a church funeral at 11am for Dr Jane Leaver.

Today - 1 Dec is World AIDS Day. Over 101,600 people are living with HIV in the UK. Globally, there are an estimated 36.7 million people who have the virus. Despite the virus only being identified in 1984, more than 35 million people have died of HIV or AIDS, making it one of the most destructive pandemics in history. Please pray for those with HIV and AIDS, for those who care for them, and for those working to eradicate the virus.

Parish Christmas Bazaar, Sat 7 December, 12-4pm. Please save the date. Please think about whether you have any of these things at home that you'd like to give:

Setting up for the Bazaar. It would be really useful to have some help on Thursday 5th Dec at 11am to bring some things down from the Tower and on Friday 6th Dec from 1pm to set up tables.

There will be Prayers for Healing as part of the service next Sunday - 8 December.

The next church cleaning will be Sat, 14 Dec, 9.30-11.30am. Please note, this is the second Sat of the month, as the Christmas Bazaar is the weekend before.

Night Shelter started again in November. John Alty is very kindly co-ordinating the rota. He is responsible for Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings up until Christmas and in the New Year for Friday nights and Saturday mornings. If you'd like to join the Night Shelter rota, please email John on

Come & Sing Handel's 'Messiah' - an annual community event. We are organizing an annual come-and-sing Handel's 'Messiah', supported by a band of professional musicians. Please help us to fund this unique opportunity to bring our community together by donating at:
