Zoom Church Details for this week
If you would like to join our Zoom gathering, either on computer or on the phone, please get in touch with Andrew via the Find Us tab of this website.

Face Coverings
Face coverings became a legal requirement in Places of Worship from 8th August 2020. Therefore we would ask you please to wear a face covering when you come to church, unless you have a medical condition which prevents you from doing so. There are other exemptions which include the Under 11s and those leading worship and we could easily share more information about that if you'd like to see those details. Please remember also that face coverings are mainly intended to protect other people, not the wearer, from coronavirus COVID-19 and are not a replacement for physical distancing and regular hand washing.

Manuela on holiday
Manuela is on holiday from Monday 17 August to Tuesday 1 September.

Safe Capacity
If more people come than we can seat safely, it's just possible that we may have to invite some people to come back later, but we're not anticipating that. We'd really value your understanding if that does happen. So far we have managed to fit everyone in and to observe social distancing rules.

Children & Young People
We cannot continue with the children's corner for the moment for safety reasons. We'd like to invite adults with children or young people to keep them with you in the pews and to bring with you anything that they might enjoy doing during the service.

Hymn Singing on Zoom
Our Director of Music, Victoria, is meeting up on Zoom with people who enjoy singing. Please email Victoria at if you would like to be part of that.

The time the church opens on a Sunday
The doors of the church will first open on a Sunday at 9.30am. Please use the main doors rather than any of the side doors.

Morning Prayer Midweek
Morning Prayer will be said in church at 9am, Mondays to Saturdays. Andrew used to take his day off on Mondays but has changed that now to Wednesdays and Shana will be in church for prayers on a Wednesday.

Midweek Church Opening
The church will be open for Private Prayer on Thursdays from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

Volunteering & Church Rotas
We'd like to work out how many people previously on our church rotas for things that need doing on Sunday mornings, for church cleaning and church opening are happy to remain on that rota. As a church community we're mindful that some of our much loved church members are more vulnerable than others. If you'd like to continue on any rota, please let one of the staff team know and please ask for a personal risk assessment form which we'd like to invite you to complete.

Prayers for Healing
The prayers for healing group are praying in their own homes for all of us. If you would like to send in prayer requests, please send them to:
If you would like names printed onto the back of this service sheet, please let Andrew know.

Church Cleaning
We'd like to start church cleaning again on Saturday 5th September. And then continue, as we used to, cleaning on the first Saturday of the month. If you'd like to be part of that, please ask for a personal risk assessment form which some people have already kindly filled in. We completely understand that the risks to some people who used to help are too high to make this a sensible thing for them to do. Please think through what's best for you and don't do any more than you think is sensible.

Prayers & Hymns Phone Line
Please remember that The Church of England now has a 24hr free phone line for prayers and hymns. Please call 0800 804 8044. Callers will hear a special greeting from the Archbishop before being able to choose from a range of options, including hymns, prayers and reflections.
