Holy Week 2026 (29 March - 5 April)




It's Holy Week this coming week. For a list of all Holy Week service times, please see the poster above.

If you'd like to buy an Easter lily in memory of someone, as part of our Easter decorations, please write their/your name on the sheet at the back of church today (£5 per lily). General donations towards Easter flowers are also gratefully received.

There is Evening Prayer here this evening at 5pm.

Little Tots 0-4 (under 5) Stay and Play takes a break for the Easter holiday (so no need to set up mats today!), and resumes on Tuesday 14 April, 10am – 12 pm. Possible new volunteers for this, please speak with Lisa E, Robyn, Toby or Andrew.

There is Choir practice today immediately after the service, and also on Tuesday at 8pm (after the 7pm Eucharist).

Church Decorating & Cleaning this Saturday 4th April, 9:30-11:30am. We'll be decorating the church ready for Easter. All welcome!

Do you know whether you'll be coming to the 5.30am service on Easter Morning? If you are coming and you'd be willing to read, please sign up this morning on the sheet at the back of church. We're looking for looking for five readers!

Andrew is being licensed as the Priest-in-Charge and Robyn as the Assistant Curate of St Michael and All Angels, London Fields (Lansdowne Drive, E8 3ER) on Tuesday 14th April at 7pm. All welcome!

We have three new services:

- a monthly Sunday Service in our church school (Pancake Church!), especially for Primary School aged children (next one 19 April, 10am).

- a monthly Evensong (next one Sunday 3 May, 5pm)

- a monthly Thursday Night Prayer (next one 14 May, 7pm)

We are looking for new volunteers to assist occasionally with our Youth Group. (A DBS check and some safeguarding training would be necessary.) Please speak to Lisa-Raine for further details.

Prideaux House is seeking donations of good quality clothes or electrical items to sell in their Charity Shop. Donations can be left at the charity shop (407 Mare Street), or from Monday 13th April at Prideaux House (10 Church Crescent) on Monday, Tuesday or Friday mornings.

Anna Dalton's daughter, Margarita, has signed up to climb Mt Kilimanjaro this August, to raise money for Street Child (who work with a network of local organisations in over 20 of the world's toughest countries across sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and Europe, to see all children safe, in school and learning - especially in low-resource environments and emergencies).
